Chipotle “Aioli”

There's something particularly inviting about a recipe that states all its ingredients in its name.

Open and honest, chipotle aioli is a vibe as well as a condiment. The following ratio may have room for more smoked jalapeño to "mayonnaise", but the resultant color is peach-perfect. And trust me: The heat will come!

Serve with my Fried Pickles.

Description

There's something particularly inviting about a recipe that states all its ingredients in its name!

Ingredients
  • 1 chipotle in adobo (or 1 Tbsp (15 mL/16 g) adobo for an easier and milder sauce)
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL/113 g) vegan mayonnaise (I recommend Hellmann's or Chosen Foods.)
Instructions
  1. Blend or grind chipotle.

If you have a mortar and pestle, this step is a chance to use it!
  2. Add blended chipotle (or sauce) to mayonnaise. Mix well.

  3. Transfer to an airtight container and use within one week.

Note

Serve with my Fried Pickles.
